Process Technician-Night Shift Full-Time
Position Summary: Set molds and start up/maintain prototype and low volume part runs.
Position Description:
- Work with injection molding machines and secondary equipment on tooling issues to reduce downtime and improve efficiency,
- Monitor processes and product quality, maintain and improve quality
- Work safely with and during mold change
- Determine process parameters to produce defect free parts
- Maintain processes parameters of all presses operating during scheduled shift
Job Requirements:
- Experience in mold changes, hydraulics, electrical, materials-an understanding of polymers and resins, processing and injection mold machinery
- Familiar with open/close loop process controls
- Good interpersonal skills involving ability to work effectively cross-functionally
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Ability to work well with others, exhibiting teamwork skills
- 5+ years in plastics processing, preferably in a prototype environment
Education Preferred:
- High-School Diploma/GED
